Summary: Killer car films. They are either some truly brutal and creepy affairs of a common item unleashing its fury, or preposterous guff only held together by the ferocity of the wheeled machines. In this case...we had something a bit different. Something in which the car could be anywhere. Something where the threat isn't even a car at all...

History: For millions of years, a large beast has been slowly evolving, waiting, and figuring out new ways to finally start to feast on the so-called dominant life forms of Earth. But it has recently developed a strategy. Basically, hide in a car, change its form occasionally, and kill anyone who dares either go near or enters the car. And now, this Super Hybrid of sorts is on a near-unstoppable rampage, going undetected as more folk disappear.

Notable Kills: Slams a guy down an elevator shaft.

Final Fate: After the Super Hybrid's guise is revealed, it is lured into a trap based on Burmese tiger pits. However, it is only impaled upon the metal when a car is slammed onto it. The beast dies as it is both crushed and impaled. However, there are more cars slowly revealing themselves to be Super Hybrids too...

Powers/Abilities: Can mimic almost any object, but mostly cars. Its car form can turn into any other car, and somehow hide the creature within.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-A monstrosity like this should be scarier, especially one that can hide in a simple car. And in some ways, its true form is an unsettling mess of metallic flesh and fangs. But alas, the awful CGI runs over most of the fright, and the beast is forced to let its terrifying powers and time abyss-backstory carry it.

Trivia: -Most of this film was done in an underground parking lot. And somehow, almost everyone fell ill due to the poor air conditions down there. Was it worth it?

-The monster is described as some kind of cephalopod in the film. While it certainly doesn't look like any we know of, its behavior is somewhat reminiscent of the mimic octopus, which can position its tentacles in ways that look almost just like other sea creatures like flounders and lion fish. The difference is that this is mostly a defense tactic, not a means of getting food.
